Getting started
What you received
Your hosting provider gave you:
- the panel address,
https://<server>:8443/— the server name looks likepanel.hoster.example; - your account name (short, lowercase, e.g.
acme) and a password; - your primary domain, already set up on the server.
The same password logs you into the panel and into SFTP/SSH. Change it on the Account page after your first login and consider turning on two-factor authentication.
Logging in
Open the panel address and enter your account name (or your primary domain) and password. If two-factor authentication is on, you are asked for the six-digit code from your authenticator app next.
After five wrong attempts within 15 minutes the login is locked for 15 minutes. If you forgot your password, contact your hosting provider — there is no reset link, by design.
The dashboard
The dashboard shows your account state, primary domain, PHP version, disk usage and every domain with its document root, PHP version and SSL state. If your plan has a disk quota, usage is shown as "X of Y" with a bar; website files and mail count towards it, databases do not. From 90% the dashboard warns you; when the quota is full, websites cannot write files and new mail waits on the server until you free space.
If a yellow banner says settings could not be applied, something on the server refused a configuration change; your previous settings are still active and your provider has been notified.
Where your website files go
Connect with SFTP or use the file manager. Your home directory looks like this:
public_html/ website files for your primary domain
shop.example.com/ files for each additional domain or subdomain
mail/ mailboxes (managed by the server; do not edit)
tmp/ PHP temporary files and sessions
.ssh/ SSH keys (managed through the panel)
Upload an index.php or index.html into
public_html/ and your primary domain serves it
immediately.
First steps checklist
- Change your password and enable 2FA — Account & 2FA.
- Check the DNS records for your domain on the DNS page and create them at your registrar — Domains, DNS & SSL. The SSL certificate is issued automatically once the domain points at the server.
- Upload your site — SFTP or File manager.
- Create a database if your site needs one — Databases.
- Create mailboxes and add the mail DNS records — Email.
Light and dark mode
The panel follows your operating system's light/dark setting. To pin it, use the Theme: Light · Dark · Auto switch in the page footer; the choice is remembered in your browser.
Finding your way around
The dashboard shows a tile for every section and the state of your websites; the menu on the left (at the top on a phone) groups the sections into Website, Services and Safety.
